The Michael Finney Foundation was
established in 1997 by Michael Finney founder and Board President with the
sole purpose to raise money for children. Since it's inception the
Foundation has successfully produced the Dry Heat Classic golf tournament
Comedy Show to raise the majority of it's funding. To Date the Michael
Finney Foundation has contributed over $600,000 to The United Phoenix
Firefighters, Valley Big Brothers and Big Sisters, The
Gift of Life, The Thomas J. Pappas School for Homeless Children, Tomorrow's Hope Golf
Classic and more. Michael personally contributes not only his time
throughout the year for these causes but performs pro-bono at numerous
events to continually send out his message to our community as well as in
other cities. The Michael Finney Foundation is committed to improving
the lives in our community by giving back to the lives of our children.

Comedy Magician of
the year, Michael Finney was the host for the 10th Annual Dry Heat Golf
Classic, August 6-7, 8, 2006 which was
held at the Camelback Country Club in Scottsdale,
Arizona. Tournament proceeds, benefited The Arizona Gift of Life, The Michael Finney Foundation and
other Valley charities. The Dry Heat Golf Classic tournament
combines
comedians, media personalities and sports legends, who volunteer their
time to participate in the Dry Heat Golf Classic. The Tournament format
included a
dinner/auction, two rounds of golf and
a Celebrity Comedy & Variety Show,
featuring some of the nation's finest performers.
The nationally renowned talents of these artists feature their "best
material" for the benefit. The show was open to the public on
Monday night at the new Dodge Theatre in downtown Phoenix, and was absolutely a night to remember. Past celebrity
performers have included: Master Illusionist Lance Burton, George Lopez,
Will Shriner, The Rat Pack from Las Vegas and more.
